gratitude YOGA offers traditional yoga classes as well as yoga-fusion based classes. The classes offered consist of: Candlelight Yoga, Sunrise Yoga, Vinyassa Flow, Yoga Jam, Yoga Sculpt, Yoga Dance Fusion and kids & family yoga. Gratitude’s classes support the entire client spectrum from first time students to experienced yogis. All are welcome!
The design of every class will offer motivational teaching including: dynamic language, skillful assisting/hands on adjustments, a calm and peaceful environment, inspirational music, education about the kinesiology of the body, introduction of blocks and straps as tools to help people grow deeper in their yoga practice. Gratitude Yoga is designed to provide complete mind, body and spirit inspired yoga instruction to create an integrated experience during each practice. Each student will be enlightened, cared for and challenged.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Sunrise Stretch Wake up, rise with the sun and begin your morning with a stretchy yoga flow at a slow and gentle pace. A series of poses will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. A great class for students new to yoga
Yoga Jam Vinyasa Flow (multi-level) with themed musical playlists. From hip hop to soul to 80's playlists this class will inspire you, challenge your "name that tune" abilities and have you singing (or rapping) all day long.
Yoga Sculpt Vinyasa Flow class building strength and flexibility using weights
Candlelight Yoga Gentle yoga flow incorporating restorative poses, great class to wind down your weekend and begin your week. Flameless candles surround the studio perimeter
Yoga Dance Fusion 60-minute Fusion class with cardio to get the heart-rate up, strength training (with weights) and yoga stretch
kids & family yoga 45-minute Yoga class for the entire family to participate in and enjoy! The class will involve: review of yoga poses, an introduction to meditation, journaling and practicing partner activities. This yoga class is a great way for kids and adults to learn basic poses and mind/body control
